Born
in Toronto, Canada. In 1991 he moved to Vancouver, British Columbia to
pursue his
career as a Tree Surgeon but got sidetracked by a broken ankle and his
love of sailboats. Steve is a journeyman
HEAVY
DUTY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC
and a certified DIESEL ENGINE MECHANIC, a Canadian
Coast Guard registered DECKHAND, and a former Canadian Yachting Association certifiedCRUISING
INSTRUCTOR,
a
professional YACHT HANDLER , MARINE CONTRACTOR AND BOAT RESTORER , he's an ISA certified
ARBORICULTURAL TECHNICIAN (exp.), a veteran light and medium
duty
TRUCK and LONG DISTANCE DRIVER and an expert HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Today he lives in Vancouver, BC,
near Kitsilano Beach and works on improving his skills
as a filmmaker
, a visual artist and web designer. His work is found in
private
collections in and around Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and France.
Steve's film work is based on
his life's experiences working in skilled trades and as a general repairman
and his desire to share rebuilding, reconditioning, recycling,
refitting, repairing,
re-purposing and
reusing to promote conservation, environmentalism, sustainability and
wildlife preservation.
